When do we collect information about you? We collect information about you when you join the Hebden Bridge Local History Society, place an order for publications via our website, ask us for information, register for services such as courses or agree to give a talk to the Society.

How do we use the information about you?
Your information is used to maintain our membership list so that we know who our members are and can contact you when necessary about your membership, such as renewal, or your use of the archive. We also collect information about you in order to process orders placed by you via our website, to manage course registrations, to answer your queries, or to manage our lecture programme.

Sending you information.
If you agree, we will also use your personal information to email you about local history events and news as well as other local history products and services we think may be of interest to you. If you have consented to receive this information, you may opt out at a later date. You have a right at any time to stop us from sending you information or contacting you about our publications and services.
